Negotiation and Conflict Management in Healthcare

Two class participants concentrating over class materialDevelop the critical negotiating skills needed to increase personal influence and effectiveness. Using real-life healthcare conflict situations, participants learn to:

  • negotiate with others upon whom they depend for results or resources
  • recognize and leverage their sources of power in a negotiation
  • mediate disagreement among professional colleagues
  • negotiate effectively against a stronger opponent

This course is eligible for 4 hours of graduate academic credit and up to 32 hours of Category 1 CME credit toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award.
