Registration Information
Registration Instructions for Online Courses:
Send an email to gmbaadvising@utdallas.edu from your UTD email address with the following information:
- first and last name
- student number
- course or courses for which you want to register
- daytime phone number
The priority registration for core online MBA courses is given to online MBA students. Registration requests from any other graduate majors within the School of Management will be placed on a waiting list until the first day of regular registration.
For Global MBA Online Courses:
Most of the courses offered are in the Global MBA Online program (designated in the schedule by section number '0G1' or '0G2'). You can register by following the above instructions. The School of Management will release courses on the first day of class. You’ll need to have a UTD NetID and password (your UTD Unix/Email account username and password which you may already have) to access the course. If you do not know (or do not have) your UTD NetID, please go to http://netid.utdallas.edu. Account initiation is usually available shortly before or at the start of each semester. You can use this account to log on to the registered courses (section 0G1 and 0G2 courses). The URL for the course login page is: http://galaxy.utdallas.edu. Once you log into GALAXY, click on the "WebCT" link under "Self Service Links" (in the upper left-hand column). We'll send you an email reminder with access instructions at the start of the course.
For UT-System TeleCampus Courses:
The UTD School of Management has two online courses offered through the UT System TeleCampus (designated in the schedule by section number '0T1'); you can also register by following the above instructions. Students enrolled in UT TeleCampus courses need to go to the TeleCampus login instruction page and follow the instructions to gain access to the course. Courses are released to students towards the beginning of the semester by the TeleCampus. The UT-TeleCampus will provide you further course access information at the start of the course.
If you want to register for an online course offered by a different UT campus, you must submit an Inter-Institutional Distance Education Admissions and Registration (IDEAR) form. To submit an IDEAR form, go to the TeleCampus Information System (TIS).
If you are a new student, click on "Create a student record", complete the profile, and then submit a registration request.
If you are a returning student, log into the TIS with the same username and password used to access courses, then submit a registration request. Please update your student profile including your email address.
